AAVIT and Czech AI Association Join Forces as Mutual Members

We are pleased to announce that as of today the cooperation between AAVIT and the Czech Association of Artificial Intelligence has been established in the form of mutual membership!

The Czech Association of Artificial Intelligence is the largest Czech association dedicated to the development and promotion of artificial intelligence, undoubtedly the most talked about digital technology of today. The association provides members with information, legal assistance, education, and media support.

AAVIT is the voice of the digital economy, highlighting the need for investment in successful digital transformation in the private and public sectors. As part of DIGITALEUROPE, it participates in the development of the legislative frameworks and conditions under which digital transformation takes place in the EU.

From closer cooperation with Czech AI Association we expect practical information about artificial intelligence and trends in its use. In particular, we want to focus on the area of research and development. We want to simplify the conditions for business and create an ecosystem for the successful development and business application of artificial intelligence in the Czech Republic and Europe. We need to work on this in Prague and Brussels.

The common goal of both associations is to reverse the trend of lagging behind the Czech Republic and the EU in the field of investment in artificial intelligence. This is due to a lack of capital and a complicated legislative environment. The fragmentation of the EU market is exacerbated by regulatory, tax and legal differences in individual Member States. This limits the ability of Czech companies to effectively expand their business globally. Yet in terms of AI knowledge, the Czech Republic has promising potential to become a European leader and harness the potential of our talented people.

AAVIT supports the overall digital transformation of the Czech economy, in which artificial intelligence will play an important role. The mutual membership of our associations thus makes sense in terms of common goals, connecting communities of IT leaders, monitoring legislative changes and educating the general public. I am convinced that overcoming the great challenges of the digital marketplace requires just such collaborations.
