Digitalization is a hot topic not only for the private but also for the public sector. For example, the Czech Republic still has big gaps in terms of speeding up simple official processes compared to abroad. Jaromír Hanzal, director of the Association for Applied Research in IT, confirms that the conditions for entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic are not ideal. Together with his colleagues, he tries to draw attention to the shortcomings in digitalization and, in cooperation with other organizations, pushes for rapid changes that would significantly help the Czech economy. In his opinion, the government of Petr Fiala is more friendly to IT entrepreneurs than the previous one. He sees lifelong education, especially of the older population in digital skills, as key.
