AAVIT as a member of the Czech Chamber of Commerce
The Association for Applied Research in IT (AAVIT) has joined the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic, specifically the Chamber of Commerce of the Capital City of Prague.
AAVIT expects from this step to strengthen its influence in the area of further promotion of elements of digitalization, robotization and artificial intelligence in Czech society and to have a more intensive opportunity to comment on relevant legislation or support tools. “The Chamber of Commerce is happy to welcome new members who are involved in progressive areas of digitalization and applied research,” says Petr Michal, President of the Prague Chamber of Commerce.
AAVIT will also apply to the three thematically profiled sections of the Chamber of Commerce: the IT and Telecommunications Section, the Business Support and Digital Agenda Section and the Research, Development and Innovation Section. As a result, the Association’s agenda will be adequately covered within the Chamber of Commerce structures. Membership of the HCC is also potentially beneficial in terms of promoting topics of interest to AAVIT during the Czech EU Presidency, which is fast approaching.
AAVIT was established in response to the increased societal need for more effective communication with government entities. The members of the association are convinced that the Czech public administration and state institutions are in extreme need of reflection and knowledge of market needs. Its strategic goal is to promote the widest possible digitalization, robotization and artificial intelligence in all sectors and areas of the economy.
