The 2nd membership meeting of AAVIT was held

On 22 September, the 2nd AAVIT membership meeting was held at the Grandium Hotel Prague. It took place in the form of a working breakfast with the participation of members and representatives of AAVIT and invited guests. 

After the formal welcome, Marian Piecha, Deputy of the EU Funds Section, made an interesting presentation. He provided information on current and future grant instruments under his responsibility that can be used in the field of digitalization, IT and R&D. His presentation included useful recommendations and highlights from grant practice and was concluded with a lively debate with AAVIT members.

The actual agenda of the meeting followed, which was in the spirit of procedural matters related to the functioning of AAVIT. The most important item on the agenda was the vote to amend the AAVIT constitution based on practical experience from the past period. “In the coming period we are going to focus significantly on project activities, namely in the field of the Norwegian funds of the EU4Ukraine programme and the Trident Initiative”, explained AAVIT Director Jaromír Hanzal during the meeting.
